Details
Flares originated in the early 19th century when some sailors serving in the US Navy started wearing this kind of trousers since no uniform was set for them yet. The style was later adopted by the British Royal Navy, which adopted the flares as part of the official uniform around the mid-19th century. Flares proved especially popular with hippies and other rebels, as their bell-bottom design was a huge departure from the straight-legged – and strait-laced – fashions of the day.
This pair is made out of a deep blue corduroy fabric. Features two patch pockets on the front and a „Mustad” zipper fly which indicates this pair is at least 50 years old. Very long and wide silhouette.
