Collection: Jean Paul Gaultier

Gaultier started his design career as Pierre Cardin’s assistant back in 1970. Just a few years later, in 1976, he released his first solo collection under his name. A decade later, the company made $50 million in sales worldwide. Gaultier became famous through a reinterpretation of various garments, for example, „marinière” - the seamens blue-striped long sleeve shirt. Other well-known types of clothing promoted by Gaultier were mesh tops, which became the most important cloth for a great part of his collections.
